Providing on site training, bespoke to your business, delivered in a relaxed but professional manner.
David Chandler became an Instructor in 1999, and has been actively training in many different industries and locations since then. He is qualified to instruct on all types of material handling equipment, ranging from hand pallet trucks, to rough terrain telehandlers and more. He has been registered with ITSSAR and AITT training organisations throughout the years and can provide you with a custom training package to suit whatever equipment and situation you require.
Even the smallest pieces of work equipment require training. A powered pallet truck can carry 2000kgs and in the wrong, untrained hands is an accident waiting to happen. The PUWER regs of 1998 require employees to be trained to use ALL work equipment.
The technology related to forklift trucks is changing and evolving constantly, we are committed to keeping up to date with all new machine types and categories and can provide training packages to cover any new pieces of equipment on the market to make sure your training stays up to date.
We offer a wide range of rough terrain equipment course, including telehandlers and rough terrain masted counterbalance types. All we require is the truck, some space, some pallets and some eager employees to educate.
At DJChandler Services, our mission is to provide high-quality material handling equipment training that meets the needs of our clients. We strive to exceed expectations through our commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative solutions.
Due to the extensive knowledge gained throughout the years, we have been able to offer many of our clients consultation and advice on many safety topics. In several cases we have introduced new practices and techniques to make operations safer and more compliant with current legislation.
When delivering courses we are always on the lookout for any possible causes of concern, from basic safety in your workplace, to technical faults on machinery which if left all could lead to an accident or downtime.
Any delegate who has never driven any type of forklift should take a basic training course.

All forklift operators will need to refresh their skills from time to time, after an accident or a period of inactivity, or after a set interval. Number of people we can refresh will depend on their skill levels and the environment they are working in. On average 5 is usually the MAX.
